Now when you know the benefits of blogging for business and how it can help you scale up your brand image and revenues, here are first 5 initial company blog topics ideas to help you begin with a bang.

Post 1. Vision, Mission & Focus of the blog

If the blog is new, starting straight with core industry topics could be quiet a hard sell. You may definitely have some cool topics to grab attention of the interested audience but let’s start with a formal cum informal intro, vision and focus of your blog. This will help new readers know you better and keep coming for more when they know what you are going to focus upon.

Discuss what areas you will be covering over next few months and how you plan to help your audience. Share a brief about the bloggers and writers or the team who will work on collecting info and publising blogs. Share your thoughts on how you expect feedback and response from readers to help you perform even better. You may start with some catchy prizes or incentives for readers as a special thanks for sharing their views, opinions and comments and even sharing the blog with their network further.

Post 2. Answer 10 most frequently asked and important questions of your industry

This can be one of the simple, easiest yet the most attention grabbing ideas for your business blogposts to start with your new company blog. Make a list of the common questions, prioritize them and answer them with appropriate clarity, brevity and examples if needed. Because you already answered your audience doubts, you have just stepped a new milestone to your brand credibility.

Post 3. Create a post on suggesting innovative ideas for your customers

People love free  ideas that promise big gains.

If you share some innovative ideas that have worked for you or your friends in the past and have a potential to work for your customers too, share them with examples and case studies. Prefer ideas that are realistic yet innovative and envision a success.

Post 4. Interview an Authority

Interviewing an authority not only gets your blog in limelight but also answers some of the questions people may have in mind and not able to ask yet. The credibility of the authority will help your blog significant trust.

Post 5. Invite a guest blogger for your 5th blog post

Allowing guest blog and contributions from well known bloggers makes one of the great blog ideas since you leverage a good network of the guest contributor in marketing the post. This will help your blog get viral as well as searched more. Guest bloggers appreciate the opportunity to share their expertise and get better exposure.

The charm of guest posting is that it comes with dual promotions from you as well as the guest blogger. And lastly, this makes your brand and blog approachable.

Am sure by now you know that why start a company blog and you’d be surprised to realize the potential by the end of the 5th posts (given it is marketed well using your  networks and social media)

  1. I like that Sunita! I do content marketing and strategy for a living and I have to agree with your idea. Granted there is no hard and fast rule that works, and the world of content creation and effective branding is as flippant as the weather – but I think as a general rule that these 5 post types would serve as a good starting point – Came over from G= btw.

nice to e-meet you Ms. Biddu

  2. Hi!!
You should make sure that your blog name is able to express your messages to your prospect customers. Through your name alone, you should be able to tell them about your business and what you can offer to them. Your name should also be the type that sticks into their minds. The key points you described here are awesome.
Thank you so much for great sharing.
